Through interactive polling, discussions and presentation of available data regarding potential biases in the evaluation of abuse and neglect, learners will explore their own possible biases, recognize how bias may impact the evaluation of child maltreatment and identify methods to minimize the impact of bias in the evaluation and recognition of child abuse and neglect.
