This panel of attorneys who represent children, parents and DHS and a Zero to Three Safe Babies Court Team Meeting Facilitator will discuss how the organization of Family Team Meetings (FTM) helps move children to permanency in a timely manner, creates better relationships between the parents and professionals and amongst the professionals. We will go over the tools that we use, including agendas, active listening, positive framing and inclusion of parents' voices can help in traditional staffings. This interactive session will ask participants what is working and not working in their staffings and the panelists will make suggestions that have worked in FTMs.
